Hello! My name is Kyle Rawlins, and I was born and raised in Medford, Oregon. Welcome to BodyRight Studio, where our mission is to help you live your best life possible by optimizing your body’s function. At BodyRight Studio, I provide a range of services including Rolfing Structural Integration, Massage, Myofascial Release, Nutrition Coaching, Corrective Exercises, Flexibility Coaching, and Sports-Specific Training.
My Journey
From a young age, I was a multi-sport athlete. Unfortunately, due to improper training and pushing through pain, I sustained several injuries, one of which required surgical repair. This experience led me to physical therapy, where I discovered a passion for helping others and a love for continuous learning.
I started my career as an aide in outpatient physical therapy at Providence Medical Center. Later, I worked as a medical assistant at a pain management clinic where we treated chronic pain using various methods including acupuncture, chiropractic care, counseling, and Rolfing. Witnessing the transformative effects of Rolfing on patients inspired me to pursue it professionally.
Professional Background
In March 2013, I became a Certified Rolfer after completing my training in Boulder, Colorado. I returned to Oregon and earned my massage license through the Oregon Board of Massage Therapy. Since then, I have continually expanded my expertise, becoming a Certified Sports Nutrition Coach and Certified Nutrition Coach with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I also hold several specializations from NASM, including Stretching and Flexibility Coaching, Weight Loss Specialist, Corrective Exercise Specialist, and Sports-Specific Exercise Specialist.
My Approach
What sets BodyRight Studio apart is my holistic approach to health, focusing on five main factors: how we eat, drink, move, sleep, and think. I create personalized treatment plans combining hands-on manual therapy and coaching to help my clients achieve their unique goals. My primary belief is that healing and therapy can only happen in a safe environment, so I strive to meet the individualized needs of each client.
Who I Serve
My clients range widely in age and profession, from infants to individuals in their late 90s, and from stay-at-home parents to physicians. While everyone who visits typically sees some improvement, the most common issues I address include low back pain, neck pain, sciatica, shoulder pain, and athletic injuries.
My Goals
The goal of BodyRight Studio is simple: to help people. I genuinely believe I have one of the best jobs in the world because I get to help people feel better every day. One memorable client had been suffering from severe foot pain for over 10 years, requiring a lift in his shoe. After just a few sessions, his foot improved to the point where he no longer needed the lift, and he hasn’t needed it since.
Hobbies & Family Life
Outside of work, I love all things outdoors—camping, hiking, and fishing. I am also an avid musician. I have been married to my wife for 17 years, and together, we have mentored several teens and adopted three children from foster care. To leave off, make sure to do something fun today!
